I use the phone app to pre condition the car and to open the charge port when I drive my other car and my wife doesn't plug in at night. other than that I always use the fob

car heats up so fast you don't need the heated steering wheel. I live in Chicago and have an s75d. I just use the app to heat the interior before I head to the car.

ive had them since the .40 update. I was told that it might be a regen failure but like you it goes away after a few miles. hopefully the .42 takes that away
