    Thanks!

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Once the PEM is removed is it still possible to monitor the ESS battery charge state?

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Thanks for the tip. Yes I have found the removal guides and have made contact with GS technology in Switzerland. I also found a thread with someone in Palo Alto who had the exact same fault issue codes. In his case it required 2 replacement PEMs before the issue was finally resolved.

Help: GS, DMC FW, PM Errors: No Shifter Comms

Hi Adrian, I hope you can perhaps help me with a similar issue.. I seem to have the same fault issues as you discussed in this thread. What was the outcome? Did Tesla just replace the PEM? How long was your warranty on the original reconditioned PEM?

    SHFT: Lost Comms TCM ID:3005

I have been trying to resolve a PEM: No data fault issue. But just got a new fault message : SHFT:Lost Comms TCM ID:3005. combined with all the shift buttons illuminated red. I am hoping (perhaps in vain! ) that the fault may lay outside the PEM. Has anyone resolved this TCM ID: 3005 fault...

    PEM No data fault ID:56

I have now received a response from Peter Gruber ; "There was a 5V power issue on the PEM’s motherboard around April 26th, 2020 and then by the next day the firmware issues started. You will need to get the PEM repaired." However, being in the UK I don't see how I would easily get the car to...

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Yes I get the same, at the diagnostic connector (where the OVMS attaches) I have the same results 13.6v awake and 11.7V asleep.

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Hi again, I provided answers to your recent questions in the thread above. One thing I have noticed is that whenever I test 12v systems I get a reading of around 13.6V at most locations , apart from the cable in the passenger footwell that is used to connect the OVMS. There I get only 11.7 v...

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Is around 67% see photo. Thanks for helping! I'm home all weekend is there anything else I should try? I have now got a cable that can connect an OVMS, that also connects to a PC I assume. If that helps at all?

    PEM No data fault ID:56

So just to repeat from the other thread... I tested the voltage either side Of the fuse on one side it was 13.8v on the other 13.5v but I was surprised that there is power on both sides when the APS is inhibited?

    PEM No data fault ID:56

Hi I saw your message about not mixing thread topics, so will try and do that going forwards

    Roadster 12V system is down.

I also measured the voltage at the connector in the passenger footwell, the one in the photo I posted. But there the voltage was around only 11.7V. Not sure how much of an issue that is?

    Roadster 12V system is down.

Also you are correct the fuse is on the other side on RHD cars

    Roadster 12V system is down.

Thanks, sorry for any confusion, as you can tell I’m quite new and not very IT savvy. I have checked the voltages Either side of the fuse as you suggested and they are 13.5v and 13.8v respectively. I was surprised that there was power on both sides when the APS is inhibited?
