Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Love the thought……. I did not take it as “gee we should not have made as many cars….” but I looked at the thought as “look at the comparative battery capacity sold/installed as *making up for the lost car sales* ! This is the thought that I came away with……🤪 And look at the estimated margins!

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

To expand on California, several years ago NEW diesel powered vehicles are required to have a biannual smog inspection every two years. That irritated a few of the truck owners that thought they could skirt the emissions test for a few years and just trade in their modified vehicle to avoid...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Has anyone heard/ followed a start up out of Mesa Arizona called Atlas Motors (AVM)? Seems that this start up has an order for 19000 trucks for delivery to Australia to a company called AUSEV, a division of BOSSCAP. Our Dr was talking about this today…. https://www.atlismotorvehicles.com/xt...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

OT I truly understand the hesitation of people not wanting to go ”all in” on any one stock (especially TSLA) due to the uncertainty of what the future holds. I was the same way, dipping my toe into TSLA in 2012 with $10k of my $25k saved for retirement. I had/have no other retirement such as a...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

OT Having been retired for 2 years now, I have watched my “all in” position grow 7x in just over two years. I was in the automotive industry for my entire life and received factory training from four different OEM‘s. I was at Saturn when GM decided that the China market for Buick was more...

Yes, I have that issue…….it is tough figuring out how to minimize the tax hit as opposed to trying to figure out how to pay the bills in retirement /s
