Those that have gone from a Model X to Cybertruck, are you happy with the switch?

I have a 2018 X and have very similar thoughts about switching to the Cybertruck in the future. I love the CT, but am really not keen on losing those features from the X (self presenting doors, falcon wing doors, instrument cluster and my favourite, the windshield), though the CT does have a bit...

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Coming from a pre-Raven X with 22's, driving both the Raven and refresh with 20's and suspension set to comfort and purposely driving in some rough areas was one of the biggest improvements I found. That part really impressed me.

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Gotta say, I like the arguments and features (or lack there of in some instances) for both legacy and refresh models. I love my 2018, the stalks, lack of cabin camera, etc. But at the same time after driving the refresh without stalks, newer centre console, etc, I'd be quite happy with that as...

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

I don't disagree - my 2018 P100D feels like a brand new car all around still (damn wish I had the active rear spoiler though lol). But one thing that I find a bit rough compared to newer models is the intel / MCU2 compared to Ryzen. Certain things still feel so slow. I mean like we've been...

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Yeah that particularly I find such a weird design. And I also don't find a good spot to keep my phone (or passenger's phone) while driving. The centre console area on the refresh I find so much more well thought out.

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

It's stupid but this would bug me in a new X as well. My 2018 has EAP which I use for the majority of my driving day to day (even having to pay for EAP on a new X would sting), and our Y has FSD. I love using FSD whenever I can bug that eye tracking nag drives me crazy at times.

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Thanks for sharing, really enjoying reading these comparisons. I have a Feb 2018 built P100D with 22's. Love the acceleration, but just in attempt to keep cost down if I was making the upgrade I was looking at LR with 20's (really want to maximize range). Very cool to hear about the comparison...

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Nice summary, thanks for sharing. I currently drive a legacy X (pre-raven), and have been so tempted to upgrade to a newer model. I had a 3 prior to the X, and also have a Y in the household. I needed a bigger vehicle and ended up with the X (which I love) and don't think I could go back to...

Received a redeem code for the mobile charger on my old RN #?

I got this as well, as did a friend (from orders we originally mate in late 2021, delivered in 2022). I wonder if Tesla will catch on and cancel orders done with these coupons.

    MCU Upgrade - Canada

Just had the MCU upgrade completed on my 2018 X. My goodness what a difference. I'm in shock at how bad MCU1 was in comparison. Also nice to have side cameras available, FSD visualizations, recent software update, and oddly SiriusXM showing up as an option (didn't have that before, though not...

    MCU Upgrade - Canada

I agree and know exactly what you mean. I had a Model 3 for over 3 years, and just like other computing devices (phones, tablets, computers, etc) I could feel it slow down with system updates that brought new features, needed more resources, etc. But even then, it still felt miles ahead of where...

Model X LR reservation for sell in Canada

Damn, even with an order from back in the spring you still get hit with the luxury tax? Out of curiosity, any idea if the order can be edited still (colour, EAP, FSD)?

    MCU Upgrade - Canada

Old thread but this was helpful to read through. I previously had a 2019 Model 3 with MCU2 + AP3 hardware. Recently sold it and got a 2018 (Feb 2018 built) Model X P100D (MCU1 + AP2.5). Wasn't super familiar about the MCU1 v MCU2 difference. But after using the 3 (and a Y with the Ryzen MCU) my...

    Canada Waiting Room

I do like the size and feel of the Y quite a bit. It feels like a beefier model 3 with a pretty solid stance to it. The 3 definitely a bit more nimble with handling, but compared to my X, the 3 and Y feel very similar to each other and significantly nicer driving dynamics. Funny, Y and X...

    Canada Waiting Room

I put on winters 2 weekends ago (I ordered a set of 19" wheels + tires from pmctire). Last weekend we had a decent amount of fresh snow (nothing like the several feet worth that Buffalo was hit with), but it was enough to test them out and get a good feel. I do think in certain climates, you...
