Supercharger - Harris Ranch, CA (18 V2 stalls)

I let my AAA lapse since Tesla includes roadside assistance. Is there a mileage limit? I will definitely use the car nav for longer road trips. On a recent trip to Tahoe from the Bay Area the nav told me that one of the Placerville chargers was down, good thing there are two locations in...

    Charge for warranty repair?

I messaged Tesla and they said the warranty was not applied to the repair even though it was covered and will issue a credit to my card.

    Charge for warranty repair?

I have a used 2016 MS purchased directly from Tesla that is still under warranty. One of the door handles stopped presenting which I hear is not uncommon. The mobile tech said it was covered under warranty but I see pending charge on my credit card for about $300. Does that sound normal? I...

Supercharger - Hayward, CA (LIVE 22 Jun 2019, 16 Urban stalls)

Nice, was just there and it was full and I've only seen it full once or twice over the past year. But I was only getting about 37kw even at 15% soc and a warm battery so maybe the site was experiencing issues and people needed to stay longer to charge. More stations are always welcome!

    Supercharger - Monterey, CA (Del Monte Center, LIVE 10 Aug 2017, 10 V2 + 4 V3 stalls)

Charging here now but only getting 25kw at 60% soc on a 2016 MS75

Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)

Picked up a CPO MS75 a few months ago (48k miles) and have seen occasional screen freezes (about once a month). I recorded the date/time of the most recent occurrence and opened a service request. The technician said my request "is not qualified for the adjustment program due to the memory...

Wildfires, ash, and cleaning rooftop solar panels

PSA - If you have rooftop solar and live in an area affected by wildfire smoke/ash, give your panels a quick scrub down. I just did and am producing +10% compared to yesterday. Figured if my cars were covered in ash, so were my panels. Simply hosing them off isn't sufficient (unless you have...

Question for California owners: license plates

Another data point: I took delivery of a used MS on 8/9 and got my plates yesterday (9/4) and the title today (9/5)

Supercharger - Paso Robles, CA - Golden Hill Road (LIVE, 28 V3 stalls)

Nice, pretty sure I can make it in my new to me S75 but it would be close. I'm a pretty efficient driver and it would be about 190 miles from the Bay Area. I've been averaging about 270 wh/mi in mixed driving. Once the Greenfield location opens that would be ideal for me when traveling to SLO.

    Powerwall 2: TOU/Rate Arbitrage

I too would like to know how PG&E calculates the NBC. I also made a spreadsheet to track how much peak usage I could offset by time shifting with a Powerwall. Last month it was $8.62 Peak -224.7936000 kWh @ $.045389 -$102.01 Part Peak -146.452800 kWh @ $0.24986 -$36.59 Off Peak 239.541000 kWh...

    Powerwall 2: Technical

And the smaller panel between the PW2 and the Backup Gateway is the "critical loads" panel?

    Powerwall 2: SGIP/Incentives

Looking at the SGIP website, it appears that Tesla / SolarCity and Swell had the highest number of application submissions. One thing that has not been clear to me yet is what level of control the My Tesla app provides. According to the one Reddit post, they said that they could only monitor...
