Audiophiles, what gives better sound quality? Apple Music via bluetooth or the built-in Apple Music app?

I agree. However Tidal definitely sounds better when connected to the car is connected to WiFi and you are streaming in lossless quality.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

That’s correct. They are ”free air” subwoofers. I’m concerned about this implementation as this type of subwoofer requires great sound dampening and will expose any rattles in the trunk area. I’m starting to think Tesla went the cheaper route in terms of speaker quality on the highland. More...

according to the manual, the detection indicator is only on the driver side..

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

We don’t know if the sound system is better. More speakers? Yes. Better quality speakers? That is still to be determined. It is entirely possible that Tesla is using less quality speakers.

200 miles review: Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

Is there a better option for range that can handle some snow?

200 miles review: Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

How do these compare to the Crossclimate 2 in terms of range and snow performance? I live in the Chicago area. For reference I have been totally fine with the MXM4 in the snow so range is a bit more important to me

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

If sales continue to slow, they could release the new Y before Q3.

Highland Model 3's new 17 speaker soundsystem

This type of subwoofer typically requires the car has good sound dampening and tightly installed parts to reduce rattling, distortion, etc. Hopefully Tesla delivers quality sound….

Agreed. No radar but it will have the harness in place for a possible retrofit like the Y

2023 Model 3 without USS and proximity functionality [park assist / summon not available]

I mean… is he wrong? It’s been almost a year and Tesla has not delivered summon, auto park and accurate distant readings on cars without USS.

2023 Model 3 without USS and proximity functionality [park assist / summon not available]

I would have traded in a 2019 Model 3 LR RWD. I am in a similar boat in NJ (9k tax credits). I have 2 kids under 5 and 2 dogs so the Y, like you, makes a lot of sense. I could use the AWD as well. Ultimately, I think the FSD transfer offer will continue or come back. They built the process into...

2023 Model 3 without USS and proximity functionality [park assist / summon not available]

I’ve made the decision. I backed out of my purchase (with FSD transfer) and will wait to buy a refreshed Y or a car from another manufacturer. I’ve driven the 23 Y a bunch of times. Great car but the lack of USS and front camera is awful. The 2023 models will be the only models without USS...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

I think Tesla doesn’t want to advertise the camera because it will point to the fact that Vision may not be fully capable on the 2023 models. Smarter to be hush hush about it, for now.

That is basically what they just did.

New Tires for 2019 Model 3 LR RWD

What are the best All-Season or All-Weather tires for this car? I am in the Chicago area so I will deal with some snow (although we will use our Volvo mostly on snowy days). Are the CrossClimates2 compatible with this car? I don't see them as an option at Costco. I see BFGoodrich G-Force g-Force...
