So, I have a related question: did folks not use the Cruise Control/Auto Pilot/FSD? or were they driving the vehicle. At 78, I really depend upon the vehicle to stop as it is supposed when presented with a possible collision.

Yes--same here. But I was having more problems with that happening with our 2020 Model 3 right before we traded that in for the 2024 Model Y. Had a second identity create itself that I finally eliminated. In general, ,we find the Model Y to be more "together" than the older model 3 was...

Well, se do have FSD but don't tend ot use it. Most offer driving is on back roads with unclear markings.But love the Cruise Control and once I realized I had to choose it from the screen, it has worked. Stops at signs and lights and react to bikes and other cars.

Well, We just switched to a 2024 Model Y from a Model 3 and it feels luxurious compared to that. Much bigger and more comfortable than the 3.

Thanks. I also double checked tosee if I had "checked all the correct boxes" and discovered that I had to press two buttons under "Autopilot" to choose the stop at stop signs and traffic lights--Beta. It's working now. I am so happy.
