    Torque Sensing Differential

If you are spinning a wheel you are not really driving for efficiency, so it is being in-efficient for a very small amount of time at a moment that it doesn't really matter. My guess would be that a Locking Differential was not used for reasons of overall efficiency.

Winter Tires - Michelin X-Ice Xi3 vs. Nokian Hakka R2

As a person in the same climate, I have the nokians and I won't be putting my winter tires on until late November or early December just for the sake of tire wear and driving enjoyment. I have driven the Model S in the snow on the 21" rims and performance tires, it handles a lot better than...

What will MX be cross shopped against?

I reserved a Model X for my wife several months ago. We are also considering the x5 PHEV and the Range Rover Sport. For us it really depends on whether or not they build a supercharger in the Sheboygan area before we are asked to confirm our order.

    Michelin Pilot Sport 3

I have a P85 with 21" Rims, and I replaced the continentals with about 8,000 miles on them. I now have with the PS3s with 5,000 miles on them, it looks likes they should last at least 15,000 miles. With the 30,000 mile pro-rated warranty that means I should be able to get 50% off my next pair...

    Punctured Tire

You really shouldn't repair a ZR rated tire, I know from experience that tire shops by me won't repair them. Why risk damaging your $100k+ car or a $2000 rim over a $500 tire? Just buy a new one.

Marcus Properties adds 13 HPWC at their Hotels

I picked this up on my Google News feed. It looks like they own Hotels in Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin that they have installed HPWCs at. This will be really useful when traveling. BizTimes: Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin Business News | BizTimes

    Wisconsin Supercharger Discussion & Tracking

Beaver dam seems like an odd choice. To me it would make much more sense to put one in Fondulac or Oshkosh. along 41. Personally, I am hoping we get a supercharger in the Sheboygan area soon.

Madison & Pleasant Prairie Supercharger Availability

I had the same problem with my charge port being unreliable, especially with my two HPWCs. I mentioned it to the service center during my annual inspection and they replace some of the parts and it works perfectly now.

Madison & Pleasant Prairie Supercharger Availability

Thanks for the feedback. We had a change of plans and ended going to Chicago for the weekend, stopped in pleasant prairie where there were 2 cars there (one ICE minivan, one tesla pulling in as we left). Great experience that exceeded my expectations, my car charged at 120kW.

Madison & Pleasant Prairie Supercharger Availability

I'm thinking about heading to Madison this weekend and to Chicago in the next week with my Tesla. Has anyone had any positive/negative experience at either supercharger. Should I be concerned with the availability of the Supercharger stalls?

    Charging in Kohler

I remembered reading about the American Club having chargers and found this on the forum: "Update - I had been having regular communication with the resort and they just installed two level 2 charging stations in their parking garage at the American Club. We stayed there last week and drove up...
