I'm trying to install a backup camera on my 2.0 Sport (772) that would trigger by sensing current to the backup light but I can't figure out how to access the wiring to the lamps. I figured it would take removing the trunk liner but I loosened a bunch of those hex bolts inside the liner and it...

Care to elaborate as to how you did it? When I removed the console cover in my 2.0 Sport the i-pod cable tracked all the way back behind the dash where I could no longer grab it.

I'm relatively new to the OVMS experience but am loving being able to monitor my car and tweak my charging status from my iPhone, and judging from the replies to this thread most users feel the same. There does seem to be one feature that doesn't get used much and that is the social groups...
