Laughable wipers and scary phantom braking was the price I was willing to pay for access to the convenience of Tesla’s unique charging network. If Tesla won’t have unique charging then I’ll get a car that can do rain like my 2009 Land Rover and cruise like my 2005 Saab.

I saw one suggestion for a blade that’s an inch shorter on one side. Tesla now have originals in stock and, for the sake of £13 extra, I’d rather have blades that leave no room for argument about being correct. It’s a business expense, so the £13 is more like £6.50 to my pocket.

I was able to order both Model Y blades today, via the Tesla store. I hadn't received a now-in-stock notification, which I'm pretty sure I reqested, which is why I'm updating this thread with this very dull bit of news.

Has anyone here successfully used a Bosch alternative for a model Y? Which part number? Bosch website says A622S, so a new option in the mix. I would use Tesla OEM for simplicity, but they’re currently out of stock.

I have MYLR + AB. In a heartbeat I’d swap the AB for manual windscreen wipers operated from a stalk.
