    Bad experience with flood waters

Yikes! See, that right there is why perhaps I shouldn't advocate this car for my mother - who also lives in Miami - what with the ominous future of stronger tropical storms, more frequent hurricanes, and the like portended by climate-change Chicken Littles...

Slate Review: Practically Perfect Road Trip Car

You might want to email him again and point out that the last sentence in his first paragraph is erroneous - Broder's test car did not run out of "batteries" on the freeway. You can blame that observation on one of your forum's obnoxious members (i.e. me), so he doesn't think that you are too...

My initial thoughts/feedback on my 40/60kwh Model S

True; but it also depends on how your bailiwick's electricity is generated - if it's nuclear or coal, well... I believe Florida uses primarily natural gas, which I suppose IS "good" relative to nuclear or coal - at least until one considers the ramifications of fracking. Certainly, streets...

    Enthusiast Non-buyers (gen3 waiters)

The Roadster never did anything for me because: (1) I can't fit in an Elise; (2) the Roadster is "just" an Elise with worse panel gaps; and (3) I'm not interested in a sports car without a stick. But the Model S? WOW! Gorgeous, seductive, innovative, brilliant, and practical (within its...

Help talk me away from the ledge

The 911 and Cayenne are SO 20th Century... (Yeah, I know the Cayenne didn't debut until 2002 - no matter.) The only reason I'd hesitate to dump the 911 would be if it had a stick.

Tesla Model S: Test Drive Report

What the hell is a "peddle"? Is that a puddle that a pedestrian steps in?

The Rules of Model S Road Tripping

Meanwhile, the first pic has me convinced that THAT red is the absolute best color for a Model S. Wow. (And I still far prefer the 19" wheels.)

Has anyone done a full WRAP on their new model S P85 yet? I have...

Glad someone else noticed that. If I had a silver or white Model S (and I love silver cars, so that's what it would probably be), I'd have to hit that chrome strip IMMEDIATELY - probably with Plast-Dip. And, seriously, once again: what IS that? Is it in fact a little peek-a-boo of the battery pack?

Has anyone done a full WRAP on their new model S P85 yet? I have...

I'd say the BEST part of this is that it might be the first white out there with its rocker panels now perfectly resolved - that little chrome under the lower edge of the doors (what IS that? The battery pack peeking out?), to me, REALLY detracts from the profile of white and silver Model Ss...

    Body Side Moldings

True, but - as with mknox - my car has been "saved" countless times by its side moldings (I know, because they show plenty of evidence of encounters with careless a-holes), and it concerns me that my next car will likely do without - as manufacturers seem to be eliminating them for a cleaner look.

What Dress Goes Best with a Tesla?

Post away, I already promised not to write anymore (yeah, this post kind of breaks that promise, but the point is I'm the one who introduced "the slut word" to this thread - meanwhile, I'm very tempted to use that word in the Sarah Palin thread; wonder if anyone here would have a problem with...
