Any idea what boat it might be on with a 5-20 June delivery date?

[UK] 2024 Order to Delivery discussion

Ordered through Tusker on Saturday. Got an RN and car showing as ordered in my Tesla account today. No VIN yet! Listed as May-June delivery. This is for a MYLR Quicksilver. Will be really interested to see if is one of the first UK MYs to come from Berlin. That is unless Shanghai now offers the...

[UK] 2024 Order to Delivery discussion

MYLR quicksilver is still listed as May-June on the Tesla order configurator. I’m still working on the basis I should hold off ordering if I want to take delivery after (albeit asap after) 23 June. Unless anyone thinks otherwise?

    Stick on vinyl number plates

My lease is up in 8 weeks. I added vinyl plates about 3 years ago and they have held up well. Is this a modification I’d have to unwind, and reinstall the original plates, as part of preparing my car to hand back - or can they be left as is?

[UK] 2024 Order to Delivery discussion

Sorry all for not scouring every post but can someone let me know what the current lead time on a MYLR is looking like? Need to time a new salary sacrifice lease order to try and dovetail nicely with my existing (private) lease ending on 26 June.

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

Had a bit of annoying charging logic in the car navigation yesterday. Travelling south down the M1 I wanted to charge at the new Luton SC (which is great by the way), which is our exit anyway. I added the SC as a stop and the car said I’d arrive with 8/9% remaining. But that seemed to be just...

    Model Y UK Delivery

Forgive me if I haven’t spotted the easy answer to this question: but what is the current lead time on a Y LR? My M3 lease is up in June and I want to try and minimise any gap or double up between cars.

Referral miles - transfer to new car?

Thanks all. The wisest choice perhaps seems to be to wait until I’ve got the new car before cashing in the referral credits. (Hoping that the referral credits themselves aren’t wiped and that Tesla don’t pull the referral scheme!)

Referral miles - transfer to new car?

Hi I referred a friend for a new Model Y and have just received the credits in the Tesla app. I’d like to exchange some of the credits for the 3000 Supercharger miles. However my own lease expires early next year - are the miles associated with my account and transferable to my next car...

    Leaving Someone in Car..

It genuinely is slightly problematic. The full volume sentry warning/punishment has gone off on separate occasions when my wife/baby/dog has been in the car. IMO you shouldn’t have to take various steps to ensure dogs and children don’t get deafened.

    Insurance troubles May 2023

I'll see what they say when they call them. For me, given my insurer was effectively fully indemnified by the other insurer paying out and not out of pocket by a penny, I would find it pretty galling for them to say I have made a claim.

    Insurance troubles May 2023

Another data point - my £1155 policy last year has morphed into a £2300 renewal quote with Churchill. General question I’d appreciate if anyone could advise: in the last year someone hit my parked Model 3. It was recorded on sentry mode and their insurers accepted liability and paid up...
