Test drove car this morning-the noise is still there but very muted. What the tech did in fact made the cabin quieter. I still have a slight vibration over 70MPH even after alignment and balancing of tires, so I still have this to pursue.

Well drove home in cold rainy weather and no noise! Will report back in a couple of days! Good service by this SC on other items. Car is so much quieter.

The thing that strikes me odd, why they put a replacement drive unit in the estimate if they had no intention of replacing it. It is a tag inside the tire that is flapping. I had this problem on my MYP. It eventually shredded off but the SC can dismount the tire and remove the tag from inside the tire. The tag is plastic in nature and they jam it in the bead when mounting the tire. My MYP has the Michelins.

He said it does not do anything for him and a tech would have to "hear" it in real time.. He is denying the drive unit as he says there are no fault codes. UNREAL.

Have you tried tweeting this to Elon? I mean there is no one within Tesla to escalate anything to, just exercise your State's Lemon Law.
