Almost New Model Y Gemini Wheels (19" - No Tires/No TPMS)

A bit old, but was curious if you'd be willing to ship [if they're still available]?

    Road trip

Congrats on the milestone! What are your typical driving habits? My first 6 months was like that as well, but over time it got worse to where it would underestimate and my consumption would always be higher than the expected. Even more notable in winter. I typically drive at the Posted Speed...

Climate turns off after 2 hours?

I think that's only if the vehicle is in drive/reverse.

Worth buying 18 inch flow forged wheels versus sticking with 19 inch Gemini wheels when getting new Vredstein tires?

Not a problem, just another data point. You might look up "living in Tesla" on YouTube, he's in Canada but he is probably much closer to PNW type service roads than we are in the Midwest, he has a smaller following so if you message him he will likely respond.

Worth buying 18 inch flow forged wheels versus sticking with 19 inch Gemini wheels when getting new Vredstein tires?

For us the 19" Geminis haven't been an issue on the forest service roads we've taken. But they were mostly highway legal roads only (in this area). The bigger issue on the ORV roads is ground clearance overall. The only other significant disadvantage to the larger rim will be you would lose any...

    Modern Spare still recommended?

I did. It's convenient for me, and because I do leave it the garage if I take it out, it keeps the bugs from hiding in it. Also worth noting, I frequently move it around from the trunk, to the middle row depending on what I'm carrying, the soft case does prevent everything from getting...

Second thoughts on Telsa charger installation

Nobody has really addressed how often you drive each day, this should tell you what you need. Honestly your situation is like ours. We have a Chevy Bolt. It gets driven daily and hovers around 60-70% with a 12A charge rate. I very rarely bother to charge it up with the Tesla EVSE because it's a...

    Modern Spare still recommended?

You could probably piece together the other parts (I actually just bring battery impact wrench), but the all in one is convenient, and not awfully priced. As for have it or do not, personally I keep it in the car most of the time, because I'm lazy to take it out. But I will always have it on...

Long family camping road trip; how would you?

There are some backyard scientist studies out there that have shown that a roof box with wheels (e.g. on a utility trailer) is significantly more efficient than a roof box on the roof. Which would be another option! Reduced frontal area and significantly reduces the wake size is the general...

    Removing Enhanced Autopilot

In theory, it is forward compatible. At least right now. Down the road you may need HWX.X to support the FSD version, but let's say you changed your mind a month after receipt, it'd be no issue. As for cost: my understanding is the cost would be the current cost difference between EAP and FSD...

    Removing Enhanced Autopilot

OP is in the UK. If I recall there are other countries laws and regulations that required allowing EAP to continue to exist because some FSD capabilities are not allowed.

Why aren't the back seats level?

In my car the seat backs are level, but in one position (there are two) the right side sits forward a little more. I have seen others that are not. My assumption is it's some tolerance stack between the latch, the seat frame, and the vehicle body. In the fully reclined position it is more level.

Does anybody know the part number

It would appear both brackets are part of the "front ankle catcher" assembly. 1505433-00-A PS: Tesla service has provided free access to the service manual for one year (for now): https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/tesla-service-manual-100-free.267600/

Vendor Bomely® Tesla Model 3&Y Accessories are Constantly Being Updated.

I like this concept. I store probably too much in the trunk and treat it like my old hatchback and unfortunately don't take good enough care. I have a trunk mat that covers the carpeted area, but is too short to prevent scratching of the upper plastic area. Would be nice to see if these could...

2022 Model Y 4680 Structural Pack is "Amazing", Says Munro & Associates

It really is just the potential for a larger range pack in. But as noted before, it doesn't make sense to extend the range beyond 300 miles for cars like the M3, MY, MS, MX unless they offer an "extended range" version say an increased officer point. Especially if the 4680 had reduce charging...
