It seems that the discounts on Model Y's are a bit higher now in early Q2 2024. My configured Model Y long-range with white exterior, white interior, 7-seats and tow hitch comes to $54,990, but there is a new inventory car with same specs for $49,590, a savings of $5,400! Oregon has a $2500...

I would *definitely* still print out a checklist (many can be found online) and bring it with you when you pick up your vehicle. You'll be excited/busy with the sales process, paperwork and sitting in your new car, so it will be easy to forget specific items to check.

If they're still offering the $40K trade-in value, I would definitely upgrade. Even if you use a few thousand dollars on the trade, you'll have a newer vehicle, upgraded computer, and the value of the new car will be significantly higher than your existing vehicle.
