Big fan of the Gulf liveries (and just bought the new McLaren hat) but that design specifically was from the March 881, Adrian Newey's first car.

Gross vehicle weight includes the weight of passengers / cargo / etc., while curb weight (2,250kg) is the measurement of the car itself.
