    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

Revenue at my company is down 1% year over year, and we're focusing on labor costs and reducing headcount as a result. The financial impact from Bidenomics frankly sucks, and we expect it to get worse. Tesla had a very bad Q1 with the significant reduction in vehicle sales and a major 55% drop...

    2024; Tesla's Tipping Point?

A significant amount of time, no, but that's the case with any car I don't own. Some, yes. Chevy has fixed the software issues, and it's not like Tesla hasn't had any. Software is the easiest issue to fix. If I was buying a car in that size today, I'd get the Mustang Rally Edition or a Blazer...

    2024; Tesla's Tipping Point?

It's a sign that EV growth is slowing, and more competition is entering the marketplace. It's not "the end", Tesla is here to stay. They have to manage their production to fit demand, which they'll do. They should update their interior and features to match their competitors, which they may not...

    Silverado EV

The Silverado RST is everything the CT should have been, at a cheaper price. I'm really digging this. The interior is perfect, and they have have the function down perfectly. It's almost like they know how build trucks. ;) The only thing I'd change would be to put the charge port at the drivers...

    500 mile range? LOL

Every major manufacturer has some level of electrification, hybrids, EREVs, and full EVs, and have been making those investments for a very long time. Everyone is offering products that fill at least one of those product types. Whether a consumer wants that or not not, based on their household...

    500 mile range? LOL

Which ICE manufacturers are failing? Rivian is losing large amounts of money and has yet to be profitable. Fisker is on the edge of bankruptcy. There are several smaller startups which are done. I don't see ANY ICE manufacturers in the same condition.

    Silverado EV

An additional benefit, which I don't believe many are fully realizing, is the new Ultium battery design which is universal for all GM EVs going forward. This battery has been designed for long-term serviceability, as any of the many individual battery sections can be replaced vs the entire pack...

    Cybertruck is a scam.

While it's correct the Ramcharger & the RAM 1500 Rev aren't out yet, they're really not that far away, which is why I included them on the list. The RAM 1500 EV is slated for release in Q4. The Ramcharger is next year right after that. TFL has had access to the pre-production versions of both...

    Cybertruck is a scam.

You're ignoring all the other options in the marketplace. This isn't a solely a Cybertruck vs gas truck debate, as Tesla doesn't own the EV truck market, and they weren't even first. There's the F-150 Lightning, Rivian, Silverado EV, RamCharger, & RamREV. All those are objectively better...

    Cybertruck Range Edmunds Test

I've told people the same. Driving an EV has absolutely made me a better (safer) driver, and this guy has owned several fast sports cars . I ease off the accelerator in advance of a stop or slowdown, and let regen do the work. I wouldn't want another vehicle without it.

    Cybertruck Range Edmunds Test

Because it does help "some" increasing overall efficiency. But I agree with the others. I've been driving EV's for 10 years, and a 30% addition is just not in the realm of reality. However, I think the best benefit aside from the driving experience is the increased life of the brake components...

    Anyone selling their Cybertruck?

You still own it, you just can't resell it for a profit within 1 year. That is a very reasonable anti-scalping provision. Tesla has an interest in customer satisfaction related to their paid wait-lists. Scalping/flipping a model that some people have been on the wait list for years is highly...

    Anyone selling their Cybertruck?

This is hardly breaking news. The policy is intended to stop the shitbag scaplers. If someone doesn't want to have this limitation, then they don't have to buy the vehicle. They can buy something else, or wait until Tesla removes the policy, which will happen after the initial orders. Capitalism...

Cybertruck "Foundation series" is a fantastic exercise in economics! ... and PROFITable

When production capacity exceeds the number of people willing to quickly say "yes", and pay big $$$ on a Foundation series, then they'll open up the other trims. That's just following the logical course of things. In the meantime they'll keep on going down the list. That's my take. My guess is...

    Cyber trucks are rusting….

...and some BarKeepers Friend should take that right out. I've left some cast iron cookware in the sink too long with the same effect, It only takes a tiny bit of water and time for that iron rust to transfer over.
