Yesterday I got a 'bad' supercharger which was maxing out at 35kw (preconditioned, low SoC). Switched to a different supercharger and the rate shot up to max. I expect this behavior from CCS but this had never happened to me on a supercharger, ever. Elon fires the supercharger team and two weeks...
Nothing to worry about. It's probably just balancing the pack, which for a brand new pack probably needs it since it's never been cycled.
Also I'm sure you know this, but supercharging to 100% is super slow and a waste of time. I know the LFP battery says to charge to 100% once a week, but...
Doing a 12v on an early S is not fun, worth the money to have mobile take care of it. If it's a later or dual-motor S, DIY.
I concur, sounds like a 12v.
Hey all, I got these Tesla floor mats for free. They almost fit my 3, but not exactly, so I assume they're for a model Y (can't be sure, don't have a model Y to test them on).
I didn't bother to clean them or anything, but they should clean off fine.
In any case, thought I'd see if anyone...
I hope this isn't true. Tesla needs to be accelerating supercharger deployment for the NACS ramp. Which has been far and above the best selling point for Tesla to date.
I dunno, it makes sense to me...
I mean, image somebody brings in their new Tesla for a loud mysterious rattle. Pretty much a brand new car, covered under warranty right? Tesla verifies the issue, tears the car apart and finds a LEGO into an air vent. Tesla doesn't want to be in a position...
Personally I would guess that the smaller 2170 SR packs are going to have a higher rate of cell-imbalance failures, just due to the fact that fewer cells are being asked to do more work. Sort of like the old 14 module Legacy S/X packs had much higher degradation than the 16 module packs in the...
Peeling yoke should be covered under warranty.
Everything else are pretty tiny fixes which Tesla will normally covered as part of your 1 year 'user car' warranty, if not the actual normal vehicle warranty.
It's a bummer, but it's a used car and everything should be taken care of at the next...
