    charging question for 2016 MX

We have a 8/16 P90D and we supercharge a decent amount. We get a peak of 142kW around 20-35% state of charge, but it drops below 100kW around 48%. Our battery also has around 7% degradation so it seems weird you are only getting 72kW peak.

Cream vs black and white interior

That's funny, I'm slightly OCD and we have the white interior with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I absolutely love the white and it's easy to clean with natural baby wipes. Not too bad.

Mustang Mach E? What will I forgo?

Maybe in Europe there are more chargers, but not in the US. Good luck taking a non-Tesla on a road trip where we live. There are areas where non-Tesla chargers are over 150 miles and you will have to drive under 68mph to get there, not to mention people seem to ICE non-Tesla chargers more...

Mustang Mach E? What will I forgo?

I think if you have kids I would argue the little bit longer charging time is actually a benefit since you're stopping every 2 hours or so. Each day on our trip felt less fatiguing then what we've done in our Lexus RX450H. You still need to eat and use the restroom in a gas car so just match...

Mustang Mach E? What will I forgo?

One thing most people are overlooking is the extremely expensive cost to take the Mach-E on a road trip. This is where Tesla dominates the competition. I just took a 1800 mile roadtrip in our 2016 Model X P90D and I ran some numbers on abetterrouteplanner.com to see what it would cost in other...

    Model X Seats

I'm coming from a Lexus RX450H and our 2016 X has way more comfortable seats and seating position! I'm 5'9" and I find the seats really good, although not as good as a Model 3 seat we rented a while back.

Tesla Model X vs Lexus 450h

I disagree with you calling it a blatant lie. I've rarely heard of someone changing brake fluid on a Tesla after 2 years. I'm curious what you disagree with my post earlier. Are you denying that a Lexus requires gasoline to run? Are you denying that gasoline and diesel contributes to deaths...

Tesla Model X vs Lexus 450h

Except that I'm not trading one pollution for another. This post is comparing the Model X to the RX450h and both are large heavy vehicles that produce very similar levels of PM2.5. The key difference you keep overlooking is that one produces zero emissions while driving and the other burns...

Tesla Model X vs Lexus 450h

Wow, so hostile! So what's your point? Every vehicle with tires create PM2.5. Ok, so there should be no vehicles for transportation and we should walk everywhere? Sounds like you don't read up on current events, but energy produced from coal and other dirty sources have dramatically decreased in...

Tesla Model X vs Lexus 450h

Except that all Teslas produce zero emissions when driven. We can talk about all the minor dust and particles, but the fact of the matter is the Lexus is contributing to the hundreds of thousands of deaths from gas and diesel emissions every year worldwide.

Tesla Model X vs Lexus 450h

I agree. We still have our 2010 RX450h, but our 2016 XP90D is light years better. Not sure what everyone else is talking about, the Lexus is less comfortable seats/ride and isn't less noisier than the X. Its better they went with the hybrid over the gas version for emissions, but I think its...

When will there be a 400 mile Model X?

Dang, how fast were you going? You get the same efficiency as my 2016 P90D on road trips.

    Raven wind noise?

Unacceptable amounts of engine noise is a subjective statement. At first you blame it on people not owning high end cars, which I have owned and driven in. Now it's the inconsistency in Teslas. I have been in and driven multiple Teslas and have not heard any excessive noises compared to other...
