There is apparently now a L3 in Drum at the Western GM. Just a single unit, which apparently delivers a maximum of 177A so I suspect a ceiling of ~75kW for 400V architecture vehicles, and ~100kW for "800V" (more like 600V) vehicles. Feel free to check my math! Better than nothing, and L2s at...

Yes please for Drum. I would settle in the meantime for some Level 2s at the Royal Tyrrell for winter trips from Calgary

Nice option for those heading to/from Dinosaur Provincial Park. Made it to Bassano on the return trip back to Calgary once with 4% in poor weather, which was perfect for maximum speed but a bit puckering as a first timer. Would love to see some fast charging options in Drumheller too…

Saw a nice set of construction photos in the Tesla Owners Club of Alberta Facebook page. Looks to be new this week from the comments there.

Thanks for doing this! I may be headed that way in August and will see if there's appetite to do similarly (but I doubt it with kids in tow).

Bingo - I just didn’t know the norms. Thanks for explaining. Probably also makes sense of why some sites have been stuck at a permit stage for so long?

Exactly. And what is contained in those minutes might give us a flavour of what is to come. Seems a bit enthusiastic to put this at permit stage, but we can be hopeful.

Yeah, though it’s an agenda (which I read voraciously) but not minutes, so it’s not even clear if it was discussed, let alone what decision was made if any. It would be interesting if anyone from Tesla was present to respond to questions. But having it listed as Permit should mean there is an...

Do we have anything more than an agenda from a municipal meeting to go on here? For example, do we know if this went to a vote, and if so, the outcome? Is there an actual approved “permit” in force? I’m as enthusiastic as the next guy, but does this seems a bit thin to be considered “permit”...

My only suggestion would be to consider pulling even larger gauge wire if a second EV is in your future (and this is your "forever" house). This would allow you to potentially link multiple HPWCs together, as they can communicate, thus allowing full current draws when appropriate, or lower draws...

Ah, well then. Maybe they stencil in the numbers later? Or possibly with the advent of V3, it's been overlooked as part of the process?

Nor should there be, if it is a V3, as the pedestals are not paired - no sharing!

The size of said cable suggests it would not be directly powering 3 stations simultaneously, at 50kW each, no? The battery pack angle seems intriguing...
