Bumping this thread. Does anyone have any idea about the delay in Texas City. There is plenty of room in the lot. Are they waiting for I-45 construction to finish?

There is now a fenced area on the NW side of the Katy Buc-ees parking lot. I counted 26 parking spaces. So I'm betting on 24 stalls here.

The parking lot entrance splits the 3 quad. 3a and 3b are grouped with the others. 3c and 3d are all by themselves to the right of the others when looking from the lot rather than the road.

"Houston TX - Westheimer Road" is fine. The location with all of the problems in opening is "Houston TX - Galleria" which will probably never open.

Yes. It's in the green garage and can be accessed from the red garage - both free.

15 of 16 superchargers here are lit up. I don't see anyone yet trying to charge. I would try but i lost my Model 3 in a wreck last year.

They are mostly installed now in the green garage level LL2. 13 of the 16 units are installed. 3 of the units are still lying on the ground but the wiring seems to be finished.

I think these destination chargers are part of the original TDLR TAB for moving the Westchase Service Center. That construction has been running late by Covid and Westheimer road improvement. The work for the supercharging stations hasn't started yet but hopefully will soon.

The private Tesla chargers in the Galleria parking garage (Green garage) are destination chargers NOT superchargers.
