They generally cover everything for the CPO under the limited warranty. I didn't pay for the service plan but did take it in every year and paid the service charge each time. they did fix a number of minor issues during these 4 years.
I've been thinking for a while now that the first legacy automaker who partners with Tesla for the charging network is going to have the best chance of surviving the transition successfully.
like every other service station that has figured it out, Tesla needs to under promise and over deliver. if a job takes 3 hours, say come back tomorrow. everyone happy when you get a call in the evening saying you can come pick up car if you want to
Or you could just do it, save $110 right away (you're welcome) and then change back if you hear enough negative press on the forum that we're obsessively checking anyways, saving 220 per month till then
I doubt this is as big an issue as the forums make it out to be, knowing multiple owners with 2012/2013's pushing 100K who had no MCU work done ever. I just plan to deal with mine at the time if the issue ever pops up
I noticed the pick up on video elements! Curious if you can kick off an SSl VPN connection from it now and actually get some work done :)
