    Only displaying half drive display

This morning I have the same problem. How many thousands is this going to cost to fix? Double button reboot did nothing.

Wi-Fi will not turn on - Can't even access the connection settings.

My S hasn't been connected for a few months. It will not connect to either my router or extension but sitting in the car my iPhone will connect to both with fast speed. Now it says it is off and driving the car will not fix it. Can't do the update.

Older DRL Lights - Fading/Yellow vs New

I cut one of my yellowed ones open. There are LEDs behind a florescent strip. I am trying to figure out what part # tag indicates that it is one that has had the problem fixed.

    Front lights turning yellow

Has Tesla fixed this problem with upgraded replacements? I have had two replacements and now another has turned yellow. I see ones on sale on eBay have different descriptions on the part # tag; Like "SAE UPLEVEL". I wonder if the stickers indicate ones have the defect fixed, which I assume...

    Quietest tires?

I would like the quietest tire also. On previous cars I have owned changing from OEM tires spoiled the steering response not necessarily ultimate grip. My 19" S is ready for the 3rd set of tires @ 70K and I have no problem with the OEM Goodyear RSA-2's except that they are noisy. Checking the...

    Unique door handle issue?

Just fixed that, broken paddle gear. $1000 if you make a service appointment or 4 hours and $8 if you are a good car mechanic.

    Door Handle Intermittent

A couple of months ago I fixed my left rear that presented but wouldn't open. It was the wires going to the microswitch that closes when you pull the handle. It is on the left side of the handle lever arms looking at the back. The wires were dressed so they flexed too much and there was some...

Older DRL Lights - Fading/Yellow vs New

I have had 3 DRL's turn yellow mostly in the inside corner. They are not LED's they are fluorescent. If you look at them in a dark garage you will see them glowing. Inside they have two high voltage leads going to them. I think the problem is with the gas inside getting contaminated or just...

2015 door handle presents but doesnt open. Replaced microswitch. Didnt work.

I fixed mine by repairing the broken wires on the switch, $0 but 4 hrs work. Yesterday fixed another door and the repair kit I got from Amazon for $55 had switches that were a different size and would not work so I had to put the old good ones back in. If you got an Amazon kit that may be the...

Tesla replacing ultrasonic sensors with Tesla Vision

Sounds like a way to replace hardware with software to make cheaper cars.

Fix your door that won't open

Three hours later after working in 90 deg FL weather my door is fixed, and this post definitely helped. I was able to solder the wires back on without removing the switch from the handle assembly. I used a razor blade to cut away the rubber, slid over shrink tubing and soldered the wires back...

DRL Yellowing Issue - Blown LED or FW?

Yes my 16 S has had both headlights replaced, not for $1550 by Tesla but with eBay parts and my labor. The went bad at 50-60K mi. and now one of the replacements is turning yellow in the bottom inside corner. The appear not to be LEDs but a florescent bulb with a high voltage power supply. I...

Fix your door that won't open

Thanks for the video, it is very well done and complete! I figured there was a microswitch that had the wires broken off. Today I will attempt to resolder and strain relief the wires using the old switch. Stupid design that obviously was not life tested and they have the nerve to charge > $1000...

suggestion for new 19 inch tires Model s 2018

My 19" S is on the 2nd set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A2. They are cheap at $182 and I really have no problem with them. They seem to last ~ 40K mi and I use 320 wH/mi @ 80 mph. I am in FL and don't need all season tires and wonder if it is worth it to get the $300 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 with eco...
