LFP battery - how often is too often to charge?

@Max Spaghetti I agree not sure I take it all the way to 0% :) I did a couple low 10's to 100 in a row as a few days of long trips in the M3 Then did a 10% to 100% in the MY both improved. Unlike friends with NMC batteries yes it moves a lot more on Scan My Tesla. I expect hover around 57-58kw...

LFP battery - how often is too often to charge?

I been down this rabbit hole with our LFP Teslas If you do not charge to 100% often BMS can be out with LFP's Battery itself happier not living high or low. Had Tessie since got both M3 and MY both LFP's and noticed it started dropping. Happened after I started charging only 21kw at a time(in...

    Superchargers in Australia

With BP I never knew why service stations are not more into chargers. They make a big amount of $ from retail at the site. If you have someone sitting in car for 10-30 mins just makes sense. Especially on the major highways where they have a food court attached.

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

I assume LaTrobe. They have a market on Sunday where one EV charger is surrounded by food trucks etc. I have seen the same MY locked in by the market a few times.

Victoria Destination Charging Across Victoria Program

Went down Inverloch and Wonthaggi on the weekend. Cannot see anything started. Now says June 2024 on map like most. At least Cape Patterson worked. Has any new sites been started or opened since they lost the EV tax? Or have the quietly shelved it

    Origin EV Power Up

3 Phase 22kw cable even though the M3/MY can only do 11kw max as limited to 16amp on 3 phase. Also buy a better cable not the cheapest you can find. Early in the morning for maths although easiest way I remember how. Single phase does max 240*32amp = 7.68kw.. So does not care either cable be...

    Origin EV Power Up

I also think it lifestyle.. The Origin plan you can charge whenever you want to. If you have a smart meter you can normally down load 2 years worth put it in a spreadsheet and do your sums :) It all depends where you are with prices. Jemena Vic Origin is either 89.23 a day, 25.37cents/kw flat...

2022 Model 3 LFP battery statistics

Tessie I found move around a bit of late. So I have been playing with Scan my Tesla depends how you charged it change around, been as low as 57kw to around 58.7kw over the last couple of weeks. I also find as with Tessie if you put a big charge in the BMS seems to calculate better A 10%-100%...
