    Wall connector keeps tripping breaker

But it’s not dangerous that the fuse box is there, right? Seems overkill, but I’m good with it as long as it’s not hurting my charging (I get 43mile/hr) and it’s not blowing fuses all the time (happens maybe once a year).

    Wall connector keeps tripping breaker

Fantastic, I'll take a look. I will of course kill the breaker at the box if I open that up to check the connections. Thanks!

    Wall connector keeps tripping breaker

AH I see, just a disconnect and not necessarily a fuse. I may install that instead next time the new fuses I bought blow. As long as it doesn't sound concerning and fairly normal, then I'm good with the occasional fuse replacement. And yes, I'm set to 48A on a 60a breaker at the box and a pair...

    Wall connector keeps tripping breaker

Yup… I think code here in LA requires a fuse box or something right before the charger?

    Wall connector keeps tripping breaker

I have a line running from my breaker box, which has a 60amp circuit for my Tesla Wall Connector, and after a 30 foot run, right before the wall connector the electrician installed a fuse box, which then runs to the wall connector. In 3 years, it has blown the two fuses in the fuse box twice...

    Small accident

I do hope you claim against their insurance and get your car fixed. It’s very nice of you to not go after them in the first place, but now that they’re trying to defraud your insurance, I would definitely claim against them for sure. Best of luck and thank goodness it was not a worse accident.

My Model 3 on AutoPilot through very twisty Topanga Canyon

I drove my M3 on AP last year with HW2.5 and then again exactly a year later with HW3 to compare notes. I can't find the video of the entire 2019 HW2.5 drive, except for one clip, but I have uploaded the 2020 entire drive (sped up mostly) along Topanga Canyon and Old Topanga Canyon Blvd entirely...

After FSD 3.0, Summon accident!!! Crashed my bumper and hood

I *think* OP meant that they were stunned and not stoned, but just in case, please don't drive stoned, FSD or not. As far as summon, I can't bring myself to use it beyond forward and back in tight parking spots, otherwise I get far too nervous watching from afar as my car lopes around a parking...

    Ticket for Lane change

If you had a USB stick in the car, but did NOT hit the icon to save the dashcam footage, you may still be in luck. If you mount the USB stick on a computer, on it, you should be able to find a dashcam folder that has a ton of temporary video files in it. When you "save" a dashcam video from your...

Rear Window Full tint problems and negative experience at oakville tesla

Had the same thing with a nice 3m tint. Tesla replaced the rear glass under warranty easy enough, but said they don’t cover cost for tint. Spoke with a few detailing and car guys and they seemed to think of a manufacturer defect caused me to lose my tint job that Tesla should offer to cover it...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Heya, so after I noticed some range loss in the car's display screen, I started using TeslaFi to record charging starting in November of 2019; after 10 months of owning my M3 (delivered 12/2018). Batteries degrade over time, so it's not unexpected. But I'm not sure that it seems as if my m3 is...

Missing my ICE car. . .

Yeah, I hear ya! I sometimes miss the engine noise from my bmw 3 series even now, a year later (I really missed it early on when I first bought the m3, but now just occasionally so), but I do miss the sunroof and the more premium feel of materials inside. However, these all pale in comparison to...

    Cracked rear glass

Just woke up to find a crack forming in mine too. Service call scheduled in 3 days. Tinted about 9 months ago.

I've loved Tesla for 7 years. But after years of abuse, I'm out

My service center just outside Los Angeles doesn't have loaners but gave me a very generous Uber voucher for the time I was without my car while I had service. It sounds like the OP had a very lovely relationship in the beginning, and I'm sorry to see that has gone away. The deductible is odd...

Finally got HW3 on my AWD LR M3 after 8 months

I ordered the upgrade mid-August 2019. A few times I asked the service center if they had HW3 upgrades ready yet and every time I was told "We will let you know." So I waited. And waited. I had a support issue so I called the 800 number and he helped me fix it (reboot, dummy). Before I got off...
