    Thanks for the info. I used a laptop and ordered through Tesla.com. I am not sure it shows up but have to think I would have noticed as delivery time was a big question.

    I hesitated and placed the order with $1000 fee on Jan 5. My confirmation email had nothing about delivery time frame so I am guessing it may be substantially after March.

    You can easily buy a Tesla in Texas and there are more and more of them on the streets. I ordered my M3 online and picked it up at the Tesla service center in north Houston. Incidentally, in Houston, we now have two Tesla service centers and a separate showroom.

    Low-tech Tesla tennis ball

    Along with a low tech tennis ball I also use a scrap piece of 2x6 as a stop for the left front wheel (my wife has a tendency to drive to far into the tennis ball).     Touch up paint for aero wheel

    FYI, I tried the Sonic Carbon Wheel Touch Up Paint from Tesla Super Store to touch up the curb rash on my Aero wheels. It has a nice applicator, brush or dot, and appears to have the clear coat in it. It is a little bit darker but is close enough that I have to look twice to find the touch up...
