Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing Developments

Wow, five days between restarts for a simple issue. Boeing can't do anything quickly.

    All discussion of Lucid Motors

Hopefully no one buys a Lucid because they realize the company is going to go bankrupt. Anyone can sell a product for cheaper than it costs. Well almost anyone, Lucid can't even do that very well. At any rate, both Lucid and Rivian have shown zero meaningful progress towards selling cars at a...

Guys, this forum is dedicated to dumping on Boeing, not Tesla. The Perpetual Investor Rant forum is just down the hall...

    Two part Boring video

Joe Tegtmeyer has put together a very informative two part video on X all about the Boring company, and their boring machines. Currently only available to subscribers of his, but presumably they’ll be made public at some point in time. https://x.com/joetegtmeyer?s=21&t=XnOIS_qNCv7Zaqa_qM9kWQ

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yes, the fact that Apple didn't realize Siri was obsoleted On December 1st 2022 when ChatGPT was released is a travesty of business strategy. Apple could use a 30% employee riff itself just to get rid of decision making bloat. And start from the top.

    Charging two Teslas

Yeah, but probably because of electrical code reasons, Wall Connectors now require their own circuit breaker. BUT you can still load share between them so that your panel won't get overloaded. So do you use a Wall Connector or a Mobile Connector on your 14-50? And if Wall Connector, what...

    SpaceX FH - Psyche - LC-39A

That's great. 10x to 100x more bandwidth than radio. Currently the only stations are on earth, so weather is a real issue when sending/receiving via optical. In the future, I'd expect they would send/receive to a Lagrange point and relay back to earth. That would also boost bandwidth.

    SpaceX investor's thread

Yeah that's the thing about these private companies, you have to catch them when someone is doing a block sale.

Supercharger - Encinitas, CA - Encinitas Blvd (under construction Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls and service center)

Just realized, why the heck would sales be closed on the weekends???

Supercharger - Encinitas, CA - Encinitas Blvd (under construction Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls and service center)

OK, this site finally has a transformer! Since the fencing was down for the main level, I peeked inside the sales area and it looks ready to me to be a sales center. It does not appear that the switch gear has been turned on yet, and there is still temporary power hooked to the main building...

    SpaceX F9 - Galileo-L12 - LC-39A

Flawless launch. Heard on the broadcast that the new(?) goal for each booster is 40 missions.

Single Phase home best charging options

It really isn't that hard guys. He talks about single phase as opposed to three phase, so obviously not North America. Perth = Australia. Look up "normal power point" for Australia and it is (I think) 10A at 240V, so probably 8A charging at 240V = 1.9 kW, which isn't great for charging.
