Richmond, TX Service Center temporary closing

I really hope this is just a fluke or something since this will probably also be my Tesla service center (Fulshear here). Their website doesn't show any indication of closure...

Time to change a basic Supercharging design?

...or we could, I don't know... stop/prevent the CRIME. I know in Houston that's an enormous request. Maybe the new police chief that started today will shake things up?

Time to change a basic Supercharging design?

    I wouldn't put it past them! 🤣

Time to change a basic Supercharging design?

"It’s not clear when the new solution will be available." Yeah, considering this was at the beginning of March and it's now May AND they probably laid off the people working on it...

Time to change a basic Supercharging design?

I tend to agree with you. Also, how long does it take to remove 18 charging cables? 15 minutes? 30? This Supercharger is in a very populated area. My first question is where are the police? But I already know the answer to that one. I've had cars broken into in Houston. I've been in auto...

Time to change a basic Supercharging design?

As someone from Houston it doesn't shock me at all that someone stole the charging cables from 18 of 19 Superchargers in Montrose. Nobody seems 100% sure if this was a copper theft or an anti-EV action. BUT - my question is this: is it time to take the cables off of EV chargers in America? In...

Elon Musk Discussion - Tesla Brand Damage

Yup. I would list Elon Musk at the top of any list of Tesla liabilities at the moment. It's one thing to be brave and take chances... it's another to be reckless and chaotic.

    Supercharger Layoffs Affected Progress?

Sure - but surely there were sites mid-deployment that will still continue until deployed, right? Or did everyone just walk away leaving half-finished projects?

    Supercharger Layoffs Affected Progress?

I ask because since the announcement on Monday supercharge.info has had ZERO changes for the US, Mexico, or Canada. TONS of updates for China though. North America gets a skip day on supercharge.info every now and then... but FOUR days seems "off".

Virginia DOT (VDOT) Releases Phase 1-A Charger Station Plan

VDOT has released their plan (1-A stage) rewards for spending money on EV charging infrastructure. Sadly for those of us in SW Richmond (Chesterfield) there are no plans for chargers along 288 and the entire Richmond to Afton Mountain corridor of I-64 gets nothing in this phase. Looks like the...

    New Yeehaw junction Supercharger

Happy for Florida but there are stretches of I-10 from Alabama to Arizona that could REALLY use a station like this!

Anyone else seeing no data since Midnight for North America/USA on the Changes tab?

Stephen Colbert Warns Tesla Owners: Everyone Hates Us

You might be my new favorite person. Thank you for that cogent response! Also: "They also think that somehow electric vehicles are going to break the electrical grids." (meanwhile... over at the cryptocurrency farm....) 😂
