New Zealand, Denmark and Greenland by age 10 and then back to NZ to finish school. Degree in Electric Power Engineering with electives in Sustainability and Antarctic Studies, then worked two years at Transpower before joining a tallship for a year sailing in the Pacific.

After 10 months I jumped ship to get married. We moved to Norway (no, she is from Canada) and I accepted a position as a project and commissioning engineer for Siemens Oil & Gas (know thy enemy). In 2010 I moved to Infratek and in 2013 they gave me responsibility for Tesla's first six SC stations in Norway

I left Infratek after the projects for Tesla, took delivery of my Model S and spent 3 months with my family driving 15,000 km around Europe and into Russia (we won the 12-day "Electric Marathon" from St. Petersburg to Monaco).

By late November we were back in Norway and I got busy helping Tesla to commission the first SC sites in Europe through until Xmas.

This year spent 2 months in NZ, followed by 3 months in Africa. Since the end of May I've been helping Tesla to expand the SC network in Norway and Europe.

We're moving back to NZ later this year - exciting, but I can't bring my beloved MS
