Canadian Superchargers now charge per kWh

It looks like it here in Pointe Claire, QC. $0.48/kW as well.

Going to a US Service Centre or mobile service?

I second that. Consider where you will live or be at most of the time. If the battery fails or has issues (I know it's rare) but having that battery warranty covered is a nice to have instead of trying to save a few dollars. So if you are living in Toronto for the foreseeable future get the...

Rogers is the carrier for Tesla Canada?

I was also about to post something about this but I thought maybe it was just me. I never saw this problem when I was out in Calgary but now in the last few days in the Montreal area, I do see it on 3G or no signal. No more LTE or 4G for the last few days (weekend). I confirm it is happening...

    Circuit Electric

Thanks Floger for giving more details on what happened to you, that is a terrible experience. I am not saying this is the case but some factors to consider. I suspect the long power outage had some impact on the CE's network especially if they were on Videotron as I know they lost network...

    Circuit Electric

So far it has worked well for me. No problems. What kind of terrible experience did you have? Maybe it isn't the app but something else.

    Custom green plate in Quebec

I too can confirm seeing a customized QC green plate, saw one in Montreal yesterday.

Youtube resolution now locked at 360p after update?

Exactly. I was sharing this with a friend and he joked about how I should just use a VHS machine and CRT screen to watch videos if I can't get more than 360. I hope Tesla realizes the Youtube resolution restriction and does something about it. Note: when I watched Disney+ the resolution looked...

Youtube resolution now locked at 360p after update?

Thank you for your comments... this is very disappointing @Tesla. For reference, mine is a Model Y LR 2021 Canada.

Youtube resolution now locked at 360p after update?

Hi there, I recently noticed that after the latest update 2022.44.x my Youtube resolution is now locked at 'auto (360p)' and there is no way to change the resolution. Has anyone else noticed that as well? In the past, I could pick any resolution up to 1440p. I wish Tesla would stop taking away...

Do USA Superchargers charge Canadian Teslas in US or Can$ ?

I've added my USD credit card to avoid the foreign currency fee to my wallet. Just remember to default to the USD credit card before you start the charge in USA. And remember to switch it back to your CAD credit card when you cross the border. :)

Anyone been to this supercharger location - 985 Boul. St Laurent Montreal, QC H2Z 1J4 ?

Yes it is there, underground parking of the Hilton Hampton Inn hotel next to Chinatown. Warning though that it is a mini-supercharger (you will get around 50-75kw) and you have to pay for parking as well. 0-20min $3.50, 21-40min $7, 41-60min $10.50, 61minutes - 12hours: $16, Max 24 hours $29...

    Canadian Roadtrip

You are right about Ivy being only 50kW, at least the ones that I saw along the TransCanada highway. I recall stopping by the Ivy and Co-op chargers and they are all limited to 50kW and I believe the price was $0.37/min if memory serves me right. However that being said, if there isn't a Tesla...

    Canadian Roadtrip

Exactly, there are times that even though the plugshare app says it is up, I had issues to get it to work. I recall one time that I thought it was just me but an Audi pulled up with me and he tried and it didn't work for him as well. The Petro-Canada EV stations are not reliable so best make...

    Canadian Roadtrip

You should have no worries. I have done across from Vancouver to Montreal and back and there are plenty of Superchargers for you. Having the CCS1 adapter is good because (assuming your car is CCS enabled) some of the L3 chargers such as Petro-Canada's (when they are working) you can draw 100+kW...
