Unfortunately not. My employer didn’t take that up so insurance is down to me and literally no one will insure the car. Just getting flat nos from every insurer. Elephant is quoting me £1200 and is the only one that is remotely reasonable that is quoting me but it's more than double what I paid...

Unfortunately, my employer decided to not include insurance as part of the scheme, even though Ocopus EV outrightly said it was until I got the contracts to sign.

I'm at a loss now, surely I can't be the only person with a lease car who is having issues insuring it.

That's an interesting point, so if the DVLA says the person who keeps the vehicle should be a registered keeper can I contest that with Octopus EV and ask them to transfer this to me personally?

But I don't have V5C, the car is owned by my employer, and the registered keeper is Octopus EV. This is specified in the documentation.

Yeah so they always show the correct car details when I enter the car registration.

Add LV to that list, the car is recognised just fine. They won't insure me, usually, it's just "sorry we can't insure you" or "sorry we require a tracker to be fitted to the car". I'm wondering if that's the issue, why would they require a tracking device to be fitted?
