How to access internals of 2nd row bench seats?

I was able to get the back covering off at least. The first step is to fold the seat down, then there is a long press fit closure at the base of the seat back that you can just work apart. At that point, you can dig around with your fingers for the zipper pulls on either side of the seat and...

How to access internals of 2nd row bench seats?

There's a rattle on the inside of my 2nd row bench and it's driving me nuts. I think it's coming from the seat belt assembly. I'd like to be able to remove the outer covering of the seats, but I can't figure out where to start. Any pointers?

    Squeaking from back seat

Also I'd like to request that for the people saying "I have this problem" or "I got my squeak fixed," please be specific about what seat configuration you have. In my case, I have a 7 seat X with the fold-flat second row.

    Squeaking from back seat

I also have the second row seat squeak. I've noticed that it's worse the colder it is outside. If it's a warm day, the squeak disappears. If it's particularly cold, the squeak is nonstop. Is it the same for you, Solidz?

Just curious what you wound up doing for your hotel stay? Did the hotel fix the charger or did you wind up going somewhere else?

Possible wind noise around drivers side mirror Model X Raven

I wonder if what they mean by "this is normal" is "this is a design flaw and all of our cars have this behavior, so yours isn't an exception"? My SC was able to solve my mirror whistling by putting some kind of foam into both mirrors (they were both whistling, although the driver's mirror was...

No problem at all! It was directly on my route home, so really it didn't take any more than 5 minutes out of my day. I'm happy to help. As far as "how was the new car..." I had to laugh a bit! I meant it was in for service, not that it was being newly delivered! I only picked it up 3 months ago...

Oh also, fwiw, there was a single flashing red light on the hpwc after I plugged in. Not sure what that means exactly, but bottom line is it's not working for the time being.

Bad news my friend... The charger does not work at all. I plugged in and the car said "check power source." I went in and asked the girl at the front desk. She checked with her manager and they're waiting on an electrician to come fix it. I asked for an ETA but she just didn't know. So, sorry...

Awesome, plenty of time then! I didn't get my car back today, but I'll pick it up tomorrow and check it out then.

I just found this thread. When does your stay start? My car is at the Raleigh SC currently, but if I'm lucky I might be able to bring it home tomorrow and stop by here on the way, if you still need the info.

CPO with low mileage and accident or high mileage no accident?

I dunno, Tesla's seem to develop rattles and other noises at the drop of a hat. I wouldn't want to take a chance on an accident car, even a minor one, because of the possibility of exacerbating what is already a common issue even on pristine cars. IMO, OP made the right choice going with the...

    Anybody heard this noise?

Is it louder if your windows are open, and there's a wall nearby to echo the sound off of? Sounds similar to a noise I heard, but I could only hear mine with the windows open. The SC said the axle nuts needed grease.

Phantom slow spot on 65mph highway?!

For those in this thread who have had a phantom brake incident multiple times in the same location, I would be very curious what openstreetmap shows the speed limit to be in that exact spot. I think I read somewhere that although AP3 cars can now recognize stoplights and signs, the car will...
