Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I'm the second owner of this very well kept late-December 2014 S85. Originally optioned with AP1 and the Tech Package from the era. This includes power lift gate, heated seats and mirrors. RWD, with one drive unit replacement under warranty (from noise, not failure).

Lowering to $41.5k for TMC members, as I've found another vehicle I'd like to purchase.
Range after sitting for a while charged, probably 253 or 254 at absolute 100%:
Thanks Zorg. I am willing to negotiate some, definitely. I bought the car via this forum and would happily work with another member to make their dream come true.
I should also mention, I would be willing to meet half-way for most Cali residents.
Car is located in Portland, OR. Have roughly ~255mi @ full charge. Since I primarily charge at work on a slow charger, I haven't seen full charge or even full 80% in a while. Will update with that info ASAP.

Thanks Miles, really great reply! Can you tell me what the hard parts were regarding the rear? I only have a jack and some basic hand tools at my disposal. Was it just angles and frustration or actual roadblocks?
Anyone bought one of these and have any input? I'd like a spoiler, but even the $600ish that they go for here in the Parts section seems too high for me to justify.
I'm seeing them from 150-200 on ebay, "genuine OEM quality" "bid with confidence" type stuff. In the past I've had both good and...
How are they getting inputs to that? Typically something like an LC2i is used to tap into the factory outputs. This shows nothing of that, which is probably the 'hardest' part of the install and also isn't free. I'd be interested if that was included with all the wiring etc, but if not then it's...
I'm looking to add a sub (basically the NVX kit) to my S, and have a decent amount of DIY experience doing this sort of thing. I've installed five or six various levels of stereos in my vehicles over the years, but this time around my garage is full of other projects! I really want to get this...
I had the 19's. Could not stand the look. I could fit my entire fist in there! Inexcusable for a $100k car, IMO. Thankfully, I am not a grandmother and I don't plan on making my car a granny-taxi, so I can tune it how I want it.
