    if you didnt have any issues for the past 2 years, i wouldnt bother... i also have the same setup... i am only changing the tesla app to charge at 40amp. Earlier i was charging at 48amp and never had any issue.. the wire is running from the basement... only garage wire through the pvc conduit.

    its the romex cable. i was told it can handle 55 continuous load.. since i am using only 48, it should be good. it was done by a certified technician.

    I have hardwired the chargepoint using 6AWG. (Chargepoint website says - wiring terminal is rated to 105˚C and accepts a maximum of 16 mm2 (6 AWG) wire.) its on 60Amp breaker... I have been using it for the past 4 months... it was inspected and approved by the township? you think its not...

    probably a rejected car. I got my delivery on Aug 29 from Austin. Received my Vin on Aug 15th
