Exactly. I don't see "phantom braking" very often but never lose even 5 mph. You are responsible for controlling your car. Phantom braking is bad enough. Phantom breaking is truly horrible. I would sell any car that broke like that.

I live just South of Portland (near Canby) and park outside. Model 3 purchased Aug 2019, traded Jan 2023 for Model Y. So, over 4 years of Tesla experience with no issue. I did have the air filters changed on the Mod3 about 2021 when it was in for other warranty work.
