So which Tesla Motors Club Forum members are actually owners of a roadster? I imagine quite a few are on the waiting list but who has actually received one?

This Sunday morning is the ETA for mine!

To be clear, I traveled down to Menlo Park earlier this week, and took care of paperwork, inspection, and getting familiarized with my Roadster. I do know it exists and works beautifully. I picked up the license plate for it this morning. All that remains is for it to be delivered up here in Seattle by the contract carrier.

I have mine now so I've moved from 'buyer' to 'owner'. It took awhile, but I've gotta give huge props to Tesla. The car was delivered flawless and exceeded my very high expectations. I'm a software entrepreneur and know that version 1 always takes the longest. But TM has truly delivered great quality here.

I agonized for about a month about my Roadster. I could take delivery in April if I wanted to get the 2008 Tesla Roadster (#414).

But I finally decided to take a two month delay and get a 2009 Tesla Roadster Sport. It should arrive in late June or early July.

The tough part was losing a few good months of nice weather in the Pacific Northwest. But this is a car that I plan to keep for years and I really like the changes planned for the interior.

Also getting the faster version of the Roadster Sport was a plus.

My Tesla is on the same truck as Dave's. I just spent the afternoon cleaning out the garage making room for it. Dave and I ordered in Oct 2006 so it has been a long wait, but I agree with Barry everyone we have encountered at Tesla has gone above and beyond to make the experience fantastic.

got ours on feb 13, the day before valentines day...it happened to be our Anniversary. [which Tesla knew, and worked hard to meet].

By the way, reviewing this various "Should own a Tesla" lists I noticed a couple now have cars (Brad and Leo) and Weird AL's deposit brings up the Model S as the next wave of who should/will own a Tesla.
