In his interview on dannyscontentment, Darryl ruled out the centre of London (too expensive) but mentioned the A40/ M4 corridor as a possible location for the Sales and Service Centre.

Nothing I am aware of, but the last exchange I had with DS on the subject said there would be a service centre (note - not necessarily sales at first, as with US East Coast ones) in place to support the May 09 deliveries.

Isn't Knightsbridge the most expensive part of London ?

It is - however if there is an upside of the current economy for Tesla, it is that they can get a good deal in a very nice part of town.
