Veneered bodywork?

http://news.windingroad.com/concept-...oden-supercar/

carbon fiber / glass fiber / injection moulded polymers / aluminum and now....er....bodywork from a renewable source.

The heat issue is greatly reduced with an e-motor, but not sure what the curb weight would be ;)

Remember the Spruce Goose?

Hmmm. . . Maybe the Aptera should be made out of wood, it already looks sort of like a goose.

So sad. A nice clean electric motor would (wood?) be very cool in this one.
