I am so glad that you mentioned the safety inspection. It is something that is always done at the Texas dealership...and the owner doesn't even think about it. So...I'll have to get it right after delivery. Tesla is taking care of my registration with DMV for me. They have requested a copy of my driver's license and insurance card from other vehicles so that they can get it registered for me.

I got an e-mail from my delivery specialist today stating that he was incorrect. Tesla cannot take care of my registration for me. Oh well....that was maybe too much to expect.

When you go to the DMV, make sure you bring a copy of your final MPVA that has the price paid and how much taxes were. If you already paid the tax to Tesla, they'll mail you back a check so have to bring that as well. Also, the usual bring cash to the DMV since they don't take credit cards.

At the moment its still too early to provide a more detailed timeline other than the December-January window in your PreMVPA. Judging from your option selection and sequence number I think it’s most likely right in the middle of that delivery window, but for the moment it’s an art more than a science when we’re still this far out.

A few weeks prior to your delivery a member of our Delivery Specialist team will contact you to finalize the logistics of handing over your keys. Once we reach that point we will be able to better narrow down when your Model S is ready for delivery.

Anecdotal, but I don't believe the owner is on TMC. There are now 4 Model S in MN! My delivery specialist just dropped it off this morning
Not sure who it is, but they are in the Minneapolis area.

We just got our California Clean Air Rebate cheque for $2500. Don't forget (if you're in CA that is). You have to apply for it. The program is administered by the CCSE, here in San Diego, so we got our application in the day after the National Plug-in day.
