Was just at the LA service center, and S (Sig, not Founder) VIN #16 was there being preppedy. (I should have taken a picture of the sticker but didn't think of it.)

I didn't put this in the Wiki post because the other entries are by reservation number, which I wasn't able to get.

Just got my finalizing email. I'm number 3379.

That means we are creeping up toward 5,000 cars in the pipeline. Once Canadian Sigs lock-in over the next week or two, we will be almost there (at least on paper)!

Check the Tesla Website. If there are about 34-37 founders series, then there have been about 40 signature special deliveries.

I am Sig #70 (not Special) and was just quoted "Early September" for delivery. Hope they mean it, can't wait!!

Are you sure you aren't special?!

If your Roadster wasn't bought used then you'd be a Sig Special. Otherwise, Nigel, and many other Sig Specials on these boards would be expecting delivery before you, yet they haven't heard anything yet.

In that case, I must be a Sig Special Is there a way to tell for sure (besides asking Tesla)? When I go to the 'My Tesla' page on the Tesla website, it just says "Model S Signature Performance #70" and "Reservation Number RN003244". It also says: "Status: The Tesla Factory is building your Model S Performance." I haven't yet been contacted yet by a Delivery Specialist, but was told "soon".

I don't know because I'm definitely NOT special! But assuming you bought your Roadster from Tesla you'd automatically be a Sig Special, which makes sense given the timeframe they've given you.
