Thread: Options I would like to see on both models:

  1. #1

Icon7 Options I would like to see on both models:

    1. Adaptive cruise control similar to the BMW.

    2. Head-Up display incorporating the GPS navigation.

    3. Side-lane warning and lane departure warning.

    4, Collision avoidance system.

    5. Ventilated or cooled front seats.

    6. Defroster for side-view mirrors.

    7. Pockets in both front doors.

I hope these are on the drawing board.

The Model S is in production.

Here's a link to the appropriate Model X thread: Options you would like to see in the Model X . You should post your options requests there.

    The 1.0 version, perhaps.

Question would be whether the plan is to roll out an updated (potentially incrementally) Model S prior to or in conjunction with the Model X release (or the next model after that...)

I like your thinking. They won't be in the 2012, probably not even 2013 years. These features are ones I drooled over when I looked at Audi A7 and A8 as a comparison to the Model S. For the next wave of Tesla enthusiasts, these would be nice (read: competitive) features.

I think they'll probably develop them for the Model X and work towards integrating them into the 2014 Model S as well. I don't think we'll see any changes in the Model S next year (other than software updates and maybe minor changes to the console/cupholders....etc)

I know, right? It's kind of funny. I'll move stuff to the right place in a bit. But in an invisible way.

I agree with you but don't forget front proximity sensors.
