Apparently he does have a female personal assistant...
Someone care to start a new thread on that Hyperloop in the Cars-and-Transportation sub forum? Mods could move stuff there.
There is one there now:
Hyperloop
I let the mods of that forum know that it could make sense to move the hyperloop posts from this thread into it (if they want.)
To me, this was the most interesting part of the interview:
Who Made the Bigger Mistake in the Botched Series C for Tesla: Elon Musk or John Doerr? | PandoDaily
I wonder what the negatives were of going with VantagePoint. It sounds like Elon thinks they should have gone with Kleiner even though they couldn't get John Doerr.

Thanks for the link. This was a great interview. Really provides a view into Elon's mind (a bit). Just wondering, how many years it will take before Elon considers Tesla Motors to be a full success (objective realized).
The best part for me was when Musk went into full geek mode talking about what was wrong with the 3rd (I think) rocket launch.
umm, thanks. I got that much. I was talking about the details Elon didn't give. Series C was back in 2006. A bunch of investors came on board at that point, including DFJ, JP Morgan, and the Google guys among others. So why was VantagePoint singled out as a negative? What were the ramifications down the line? Was the other guy at Kleiner that wanted the deal Ray Lane, who went on to be Fisker's COB?
