Import Tesla Roadster from the US to Canada

Currently, Tesla is not listed on the Registrar of Imported Vehicles list of vehicles admissible to Canada.

Does anyone know how one obtains a "No Objection" letter from Transport Canada, which would allow a vehicle not on the list to be imported ?

You could try calling Bev Oda...she will have some time on her hands & might know...I think you can reach her at The Savoy...











I guess you would have to contact Services Canada...

I would try asking the RIV directly, they're actually quite helpful in providing advice for getting cars across the border. I imported a sports car from Florida into Alberta 2 years ago and they answered a number of my questions via e-mail before giving me a direct phone number to talk to someone.
