    Electric Mobile Cars

Several models all in the high $30's

Electric Motor Cars, LLC (EMC) is an American company that began researching, developing, and engineering electric vehicle drivetrains more than 10 years ago. Today, after developing and testing our vehicles at EMC locations in some of the most challenging environments across the globe, we are proud to be able to offer the E36 line of 100% Highway Certified Electric Vehilces that have a game-changing 200 mile maximum driving range.
    Going for the business fleets.
Currently sold exclusively in corporate, municipal, and higher education fleets, our US final assembled, 4-star crash-rated, zero emission vehicles are the ideal solution for organizations seeking to reduce carbon emissions and increase transportation savings through our proven green technology. EMC vehicles include a ¼-ton pick-up truck, utility cargo van, and 7-passenger wagon. Conveniently, all run on the same front-wheel drive, uni-body platform.

    What about Coda?

And why have we not heard of them?

The world loves to be deceived.

Several months ago I tried finding anything about them besides what was on their website. No luck. If these are certified vehicles I've yet to see any proof. Unless they are going the LSV route.

They are converted Dacia Logans. Dacia is Renault's budget brand which uses old Renault technology.

The ICE version of the E36U can be bought in Roumania for about $8500 (ex all taxes)
