I've got a black Tesla cap and a black Tesla T-shirt that came with the swag pack I got sometime around Christmas 2010. I've misplaced the cap and haven't worn the T-shirt yet. I'm going to wear it this Friday (the 6th) at the Seattle test drive.

I'm not much of a hat person but when I do wear the cap it gives me headaches - my other caps do not. The t-shirt is worn "in rotation" - I literally have hundreds of t-shirts and that is about all I wear except when I go to work - which won't be much longer![]()
I have a red cotton polo that has worn well. I don't wear it that often as I feel silly wearing my Tesla polo then driving my Roadster.
But on a related swag front... When I bought my Roadster I was given an insulated travel mug (Tesla in red on the side) that was Made in America. After my Dad saw it and had to have one I stopped by the Menlo store. To my dismay they are now made in China (same brand and design, w/ Tesla in grey on the side). I am disappointed. Tesla trumps up Made in America for their cars, how about following through on other things? They certainly charge enough for the items that they could source them in the US and still sell them. Wife was going to buy one of their $80 fleece jackets but once she read the made in China label decided it wasn't worth more than $20.

I'm sure it's very difficult and expensive to find certain items like that made in the US but they certainly could try. Might have to charge more but I'd imagine people might not mind and you could advertise the US part of it as you said. I think it's a smart idea. I guess it depends on how big the US premium would be.
