How to Request to be moderator of a sub fourm on this forum?

Hello TMC,
Like Larry Chanin, I am currently running a Tesla group in the south east Region. The Atlanta based group I run is on Facebook (we currently have 26 members http://on.fb.me/TeslaFansATL), because at the time I did not see any way to do a local users group on this forum. I would like to stay in sync with TMC because it is the de facto official Tesla Motors online community.

I don't know if this the proper place to do it, but I'd like to officialy request to be moderator of a "Georgia" sub forum on this forum.

Thank You

I second the nomination since I'm in Georgia but not on Facebook and would like something out of TMC.

Hi Dean,

I just wanted to point out something you probably don't know. I am not a moderator of the public Florida forums, nor do I feel that I need to be. We have great moderators and in particular Nigel does a great job moderating the Florida public forums.

When I established the Florida Tesla Motors Club discussion groups in the Groups sub-forums I was automatically made a moderator of those groups. I choose to make our club groups "By invitation only" because we wanted to use those forums to exchange private contact information amoung club members and privacy is a serious concern.

I have not seen a Georgia or Atlanta sub-forum in the group sub-forum. If you set up a Georgia or Atlanta group sub-forum you will become the moderator and you can set-up the access method.

To get to the Group sub-forums select "Community" from the main menu, then "Groups" you will be able to see the names of the Group sub-forums. If I'm not mistaken most Groups are accessable to TMC members. As I mentioned ours is not.

Regards,

Larry
