    Electric Car Economics: Payback vs. Premium - TheStreet

    Here's an intersting article. A lower operating cost + premium experience to drive sales. Same reason I am getting one. Good to hear something positive.

    Exactly what I've been saying for a while, except that he mentions a battery equivalent to Moore's Law, which does not exist.

    Sadly, it's hard to take anything the article says seriously because the guy is a complete nutjob.

    Are you buying "protection" in the event gasoline prices were to increase from the current $4 to the Obama administration's (implicit and nowadays secretive, hush-hush) goal of $8 to $10 a gallon?

    He does kind of lose credibility with that comment but overall, seems a well thought out argument from someone who doesn't think climate change matters at all or even exists.
