More people let go by Tesla Motors

Any reasons given or can we just speculate that the focus now is solely on the Roadster and anything related to R&D and Whitestar and such is too much dead weight at the moment? I hate hearing the news though...unless they sucked; I'm a fan of employment at-will.

Note, there is a new face on the Company Team page...

Their employement page seems to list primarily engineering positions yet the latest team page additions have been in Finance and Legal...


I view some of these developments as IPO positioning.

I can only sigh over this news. So sad. :frown: And my guess is that these still won't be the last folks shown the exit.

Yes...and also an exercise reminiscent of a "Ship of Theseus" problem. How many people must go before the company becomes something else entirely? What exactly will that company produce?
