    Well, this wallpod looks very similar to the ZCW wallbox. I made the images clickable to find the web site.

    But the ZCW ones sell for £99 and Ploughcroft cost £399. What is the difference about? The operation & maintenance service offering?

    As a charity ZCW can operate on very slim margins so that's part of the difference. However, with companies like Ploughcroft (and others to be announced soon) you are receiving a full service offering which may be of benefit to the Charging Station owner;

    For me personally, the most important part of this announcement is that we now have access to 120 electricians across the UK who have been trained to install Charging Stations at low cost without all of the BS that comes from EDF, BG, etc.

    IMO it's critical that we get Charging Stations into the hands of the 'white van man' electrician if we want this to go mainstream... companies like Ploughcroft and Rolec are an important part of that transition because they really will deliver low cost, high quality, Charging Station installations that are safe for all to use.

    no problem

    We see our role as one of setting benchmarks for others to follow... for example, launching a Type 1 to Type 2 32A cable with ITT connectors for £199 (including some profit) is designed to demonstrate to everyone just what prices we should be paying for EV hardware
