Saw a converted Porsche for the first time today at a St Petersburg event. Battery pack in the front, motor in the rear, no trunk space whatsoever and a range of 50-70 miles. Seems like a waste of a Porsche.....:

It depends on your definition of waste. I saw the car in person and raced against it. The performance was not bad at all, not far off the Tesla and it did quite well in the autocross as well, again a step behind the Roadster:smile:. I saw it at EVCCON 2011.

That's Seb's Porsche isn't it? If so it's a showcase for EVnetics products, and any EV Porsche is never a waste :wink:
